Canton’s Decentralized App Layer Launches, Supported by $1M+ Foundation Grant

July 28, 2026 – New York, United States

class=”ql-align-center”>BitSafe has released infrastructure for developers launching financial services on the Canton Network.

With the help of a Canton Foundation Development Fund grant More than $1 million (8,500,000 $CC), BitSafe today opened the public beta of Decentralization Manager, an open-source framework for allowing software and organizations to build robust decentralized decentralized infrastructure.

Canton Network has become an essential foundation for organizations that bring real revenue and efficiency. Achieving organizational requirements requires analytical methods and distributed reliability, but until now every team building in Canton has had to establish security, governance, and infrastructure from the start. Decentralization Manager makes this process reusable, so teams build services, not infrastructure.

Under the direct supervision of Quantstamp, Decentralization Manager represents an exciting extension of blockchain use cases and allows organizations to continue to use the network’s private infrastructure while reducing risk by decentralizing their services.

Decentralization Manager ships with pre-built infrastructure for delivery and storage and supports other features such as:

  • Release of symptoms: Issuers can launch and manage Canton tokens, from packaged cryptoassets to stablecoins and RWAs.
  • Storage with many signature wallets: Teams can manage and transfer shared resources, multiple parties, and eliminate reliance on a single administrator.
  • Tokenized real world assets and securities: Builders can bring real wealth to the world and manage it under decentralized governance.
  • DEXs, lending, and structured products: Organizations can implement financial programs with the Decentralization Manager.

CBTC, the first asset in Canton, is the first to be used by the Decentralization Manager. With more than 10 million to date, the node operators who support CBTC have already received a portion of the Canton fee from the chain. Decentralization Manager now adds that access to the network. Developers get an easy access to high-end node operators that can support their products, and the operators get the same share of Canton’s revenue in return.

“The future of blockchain for organizations depends on making the technology easier to build and adopt,” said Viv Diwakar, Director of the Canton Foundation. “By open-sourcing the Decentralization Manager, BitSafe is providing developers with the tools to create stable, privacy-preserving software that distributes trust to independent workers without violating the mandates and regulatory bodies required. Contributions like this strengthen Canton’s ecosystem and help expand the digital economy and ensure that financial markets are accessible to BitSafe. And we hope to see the next generation of software built in Canton.”Starting today, Palladium Labs is the first developer to announce the use of Decentralization Manager to allow multi-party licensing to work. “Distributed trust and full accounting are the key applications of school loans like Alpend,” said Akshay Sinha, Cofounder & CTO of Palladium Labs. “Decentralization Manager makes Canton’s entire ecosystem more sustainable. Adopting it was one of the easiest decisions we’ve made.”

In addition to Palladium, CBTC Attestors Nethermind, DSRV, and Finoa Consensus Services have already implemented Decentralization Manager. Their participation validates Canton’s public efforts to embrace technology that prioritizes data privacy, operational efficiency, and resilience.

A public beta is now open on the Canton Foundation’s GitHub, with additional work in progress. Builders who need workers to complete their Fixed Party can to reach to BitSafe to match vetted node operators. Organizations looking to issue and manage Canton tokens can engage with BitSafe’s Decentralization Services for custom tokenizations.

Additional quotes from environmental partners:

“The CBTC Decentralized Party has shown the distance of Canton, and the beta opening of the Decentralization Manager is a big step in the whole environment. The process was easy for our team – sending a contract was just one click. – Joonkyo Kim, CTO, DSRV“As one of the witnesses defending the CBTC, we have been working within the BitSafe infrastructure from the beginning, so we have seen firsthand what it takes to share trust in independent developers through.Organizations that bring real estate to Canton expect this: there is no single way to manage and monitor the security and resilience of their vulnerable groups. Making this kind of infrastructure open and repeatable is an important part of the ecosystem. ” – Mateusz J?drzejewski, CIO, Nethermind“BitSafe’s Decentralization Manager transforms the infrastructure we’ve already implemented without a single problem, which charities have come to expect from Canton. We’re excited to expand our partnership with BitSafe and look forward to building more together as new programs join the network.” – Daniel Schrader, Managing Director, Finoa Consensus Services
