The Stock Market Looks Like It’s Down, Morgan Stanley’s Dan Skelly – Here’s Why

Several factors indicate that the market is falling, according to Dan Skelly, managing director at Morgan Stanley.

Skelly says it’s fresh CNBC interview that the US is currently experiencing an “overflow” that makes the financial risk/reward at current prices look good.

“I don’t want to minimize the ongoing debate in any way, but if you think about it, a year ago in April we are talking about another major snafu, which seems to have existed at the time, and now we are not thinking about it anymore. productivity, it is one of the most powerful findings.”

Skelly says Morgan Stanley does not expect a major recession.

“Peak to the through, we had a correction of 9% in the last few months, and the market, we think, has gone down a lot. Look, I’m not saying that we are not repeating, but it is difficult to understand what the market is learning that it is very difficult, when we already know the purpose is to end the war and continue to go beyond all this.”

The S&P 500 is trading at 6,848.26 at the time of writing and has risen 3.73% over the past five days.

Skelly thinks the market reached 6,300.

“Another sign of this is that the VIX, the index volatility index, has fallen below the 30 level, and usually volatility has to go up before markets go down.”

The VIX stands at 19.48 at the time of writing.
