Bitcoin Scholars Fund Launches $21 Million Mission to Bring Bitcoin Education to K-12 Schools


A new non-profit organization, the Bitcoin Scholars Fund (BSF), announced plans to send $21 million from federal funds to K-12 Bitcoin education by 2027. uncovered his focus on X, promoting what he calls “modern alternatives” to support state-funded education.

According to the group sentences, the bag will add The One Big Beautiful Bill Act from 2027, allowing people to take a 1:1 tax credit to pay up to $1,700 – or $3,400 for couples – to pursue Bitcoin education. The organization says the system makes the donation “cost $0” to donors while sending money to classrooms.

In other words, a taxpayer with a federal income of $8,000 can contribute $1,700 to the Bitcoin Scholars Fund, receive the full amount of the $1,700 federal loan, and still contribute $8,000 – effectively shifting a portion of their debt from general income to Bitcoin scholarships at no additional cost.

The organization’s goal is to recruit 12,350 people, the so-called “Genesis 12,350,” to support a $21 million grant for elementary and secondary education in Texas.

The scholarship will support the study of Bitcoin, the Austrian economy, and “liberal technology” in participating schools that complete the “Bitcoin at Work(shop)” certificate of Base58, which brings high-quality education into the classroom.

Its founders are asking supporters to start supporting and spreading the word before the fund is launched on January 3, 2027 – symbolically in line with Bitcoin’s 18th anniversary.

“Our proof of work will begin today,” the group said. “Fund education, not war.”
