In a bold move that caused the crypto world to collapse, Telegraph founder Pavel Durov announced today that the fee on The Open Network (TONCoin) has already dropped 6x, down to almost zero.
But this is just the beginning. Telegram is stepping up to replace the TON Foundation as the main force behind the blockchain, being its biggest endorsement.
This change shows a significant change in TON. After offering a 10x speed boost in April (Step 1 of the “Make TON Better Again”) plan, the network is now accelerating its transformation with direct participation of Telegram.
The focus is moving forward in terms of technology, with the help of a refreshed ton.org website, new build tools, and major performance upgrades, all of which are expected to be released in the next 2-3 weeks.
