The man suspected of taking part in the Ledger robbery that led to David Balland in France last year has been arrested in Spain, according to the housing report from The Parisian.
The arrested man is believed to be responsible for the last terrorist attack since January 2025, according to reports.
“The French authorities identified and arrested all the members of the terrorist group, except one of them, who left the country to flee to our country and avoid arrest,” the Spanish Civil Guard said in a statement.
The man, who has not been named, was in Spain and was finally arrested last week in the city of Benalmadena. The man’s arrest was made possible by the use of a large number of police officers, the report said, “because of their danger and the possibility that the gang they were part of would try to free them.”
Balland and his wife He was kidnapped from his home in Cher, France last January and was held captive for about 24 hours, demanding a ransom of 10 million Euro worth of crypto-about $11.6 million-according to the Spanish Civil Guard.
