The NBA-inspired competition challenges entrepreneurs from around the world through three rounds of competition: Toss, Knockout, and Buzzer-Beater.
STARTRADERofficial partner of the NBA, announces the STAR Trading League, an international competition that brings together traders in a structured, performance-driven environment. Registration runs from 11-28 May, with participants choosing one of 30 groups via the customer portal before 1 June. The competition will take place on 31 July across three stages, ending with one winning team, where the top two entrepreneurs in the group will win tickets to the NBA game along with other prizes.
Built around the campaign theme “Hit the Markets Buzzer Beater,” the competition was inspired by the last game in basketball, and shows how success in sports and business often depends on accuracy and timing at the right time.
The tour starts with the Toss, the entry stage of the regular season, where the participants start competing. Similar to a basketball tip, this feature allows traders to position themselves for early profits, while ensuring which teams are advancing and setting the tone for the upcoming tournament.
The second stage, Knockout, introduces the knockout stage, which requires teams to demonstrate consistency and strong business strategies to stay in the competition. As the stakes rise, only the teams with the strongest results advance. The division begins with the playoffs, followed by the quarterfinals.
The final stage, Buzzer-Beater, brings together the best teams in a series of decisive matches, starting with the semifinals, where four teams compete for a place in the next stage. The competition goes to the MVP Finals, where the two remaining teams meet to claim the title. Victory belongs to those who act correctly and steadfastly in difficult times.
Contestants will compete for prizes in each section of the competition, with the best performing teams recognized along the way. The winning team of 10 entrepreneurs may be eligible for a number of prizes, with prizes awarded to those who qualify. The top two winners will receive grand prizes, including an NBA game ticket, an exclusive STARTRADER basketball, an NBA Store voucher, and a $10,000 cash prize.
