Fundstrat’s Tom Lee thinks 2027 and 2028 could represent the same period of profit.
Lee says in a new interview with CNBC that stocks may face challenges from now until December and urges investors to remain “vigilant but mostly conservative.”
He said the three main factors that could be the primary public sector and the timing of the mid-term elections could affect stocks. Lee also says the market may try to “test” Kevin Warsh, the new chairman of the US Federal Reserve.
But the long-term bull says that two big factors are keeping him optimistic about prices heading into 2027.
(3:10) “One is, I think the US economic growth rate has started to rise. In other words, we can grow at 4%. And for mature, large economies in the world start to support growth, that’s pretty amazing.
The second is that the US is one of the largest exporters of the most important tool for the next 10-15 years, which is AI medicine. And this means that we are exporters of valuable products.
And there’s a lot of money that I think is misallocated today because a lot of it is held in the private sector, but it’s going to the public markets. So I think that, combined with the number of millennials and Gen Z increasing the workforce, but also starting to have a lot of wealth, I think that this will be established after 2026, maybe in the next two years, some of the best in the stock market in our lifetime. ”
