MapleStory Universe (MSU)the blockchain-powered expansion of Nexon’s iconic MapleStory franchise, today announced the launch of MapleStory Vibe Campan international developer competition inviting users to create original games and experiences using the official MapleStory Universe tools. The campaign coincides with the opening of MSU locationa dedicated build environment developed in collaboration with an AI game development platform Section 8.
From June 8th to June 29th, MapleStory Vibe Camp offers all the rewards. US$60,000 to NXPC and is open to developers worldwide. Through the MSU Space, participants will be able to create and publish experiences led by MapleStory, with select projects receiving recognition, awards, and future participation opportunities.
The launch is the first to launch a crowd MSU 2.0The next phase of MapleStory Universe’s growth following its first year of live operations. The event celebrated more than 150 million chain integrations and generated approximately 49.1 million NXPC, equivalent to US$ 31 million, in natural resources. This marks the expansion of the MapleStory Universe from a single game into a comprehensive platform designed to support the creation, distribution, and monetization of MapleStory IP.

At the heart of this project is the MSU Space, a dedicated space within Vesi8 that gives users access to it MapleStory Universe official property, resources, and development tools. Through the platform, developers can develop MapleStory-themed characters, monsters, objects, environments, and legends while leveraging Verse8’s AI game design capabilities. Participants can create projects using natural languages, review game ideas, and publish the finished product directly through the platform.
The launch shows the main goals of MSU 2.0, which aims to transform MapleStory from a closed IP game into a system ecosystem where communities can create new products, applications, and services using MapleStory IP.
MSU 2.0 aims to reduce the barriers often associated with an IP-based environment by combining machine tools, AI-enabled tools, and human-led participation. one unified framework.
