Michael Saylor broke the silence in public on June 26 with a column on X to confirm the commitment Strategy for Bitcoin, while the company is facing security research and expansion problems across its headquarters system.
The Rosen Law Firm initiated the investigationassessing whether Strategy managers made misleading statements on five linked issues. The company did not provide an official response.
Saylor Doubles Down on Bitcoin Focus
At X, Saylor did not comment directly on the investigation. Instead, he framed the instability as a systematic experiment. He has demonstrated a strong commitment to credit quality and long-term profitability.
The word is known for what it leaves out. It makes no mention of the collective interest that has gathered around the company or the sharp drop in the preferred Strategy. Saylor focuses on financial discipline, a message aimed at both equity and debt holders.
Strategy holds 847,363 Bitcoin (BTC), more than 4% of all Bitcoin that will ever exist. Its purchase price is close to $75,500 per coin, higher than current prices. This difference forced MSTR investors who had previously paid to increase their exposure to Bitcoin. It also expanded its review of the company’s continued funding of new acquisitions.
The strategy has built up a lot of this type of stock through several publicly traded stocks. Those tools are now under pressure like Bitcoin prices weakening and investor confidence in the sector is deteriorating.
Market Failure Tests Sentiment
The day before Saylor’s posting, critic Peter Schiff expanded his criticism of Strategy’s. market decline.
He said MSTR has fallen 84% from its all-time high. Schiff also said that STRC is down 25% from its peaknow they have a yield of 15.3%. Saylor’s writings served as direct criticisms without directly addressing them.
Questions about Long-term stability of STRC it has grown so much. Preferred shares cost $1.2 billion a year. Strategy disclosed $1.4 billion in revenue on June 22, which wouldn’t equate to a full year at current prices.
Whether Saylor’s reconfirmation bolsters business confidence or whether the survey comes to a screeching halt could explain the strategy’s next step.
