Bitplanet Signs Agreement with Antalpha to Establish Bitcoin Mining Operations


Bitplanet Inc. has signed a memorandum of understanding with Nasdaq fintech company Analpha and its mining partners to enter the Bitcoin mining business, the company. he announced.

Under the agreement, Bitplanet will send KRW 15 billion (about $10.8 million) in Bitcoin mining equipment and start working this month. The equipment is set to be shipped to storage facilities in Oman and Paraguay – areas the company cited as having high energy costs and sustainable infrastructure.

Analpha, which uses the Analpha Prime technology platform, provides BTC lending services to Web3 companies. The agreement gives Bitplanet access to Analpha’s global mining operations, including resources and technical support.

Bitplanet is targeting an output of more than 7 BTC per month and more than 80 BTC per year from its first round of hardware.

The company plans to manage mined Bitcoin as a long-term asset, allocating savings, risk-hedging funds, and reinvestment capital — a model the company calls Digital Asset Treasury, or DAT.

Bitcoin mining as a way to store bitcoin at Bitplanet

This method differs from the Bitcoin Treasury industry’s methods that rely on market purchases. By using Bitcoin mining, Bitplanet adds a marketing strategy to its existing business integration.

“Our partnership with Analpha is a sign that Bitplanet has entered the global BTC mining environment, and is an important demonstration of the fact that the model we have provided is beginning to translate into practical results,” said Paul Lee, CEO of Bitplanet.

“We will continue to work closely with Analpha and our environmental partners in BTC mining, digital assets, and other financial services, expanding the scope of our partnership,” Lee said.

Bitplanet is a South Korean company building a foundation for AI power across Bitcoin mining, GPU hardware distribution, and AI data centers.
