Bitcoin Maxi Jack Dorsey Unveils New Open Community Discussion Program

Tech entrepreneur Jack Dorsey has announced a new group chat platform that fights to reduce the dependence of groups on platforms like Slack, in the Bitcoin maxi recent push for decentralization.

Co-founder of Block he wrote Tuesday on X that the new app, called Buzz, was “for community groups and supporters of all kinds” and “independent, independent, independent, and open source.”

Described as “a new workspace for teams and agents” on its website, Buzz users can “chat with teammates and special agents in one shared space, then focus on planning, project management, writing, and PRs.”

A quote from parent company Block he said that the new program was built on the social networks of Nostr.

“The interface makes sense to anyone who uses a modern communication tool,” added Block.

“Every company needs a place where people and agents can work together,” said Bradley Axen, head of AI at Block.

“The question is whether the place is owned or open. We created Buzz because we believe it should be open.”

Decentralize everything

Dorsey, whose blockchain company owns Square and Cash App, has long been pushing for solutions: especially with Bitcoin.

The billionaire founder of Twitter left the company to focus on payments and the launch of Bitcoin in 2021, saying that he wants the cryptocurrency to be a global currency and “everyday money.”

He has also described Satoshi Nakamoto’s Bitcoin white paper as “poetry.”

Cash App allows users to send and receive and buy and sell Bitcoin with the Square marketplace accepting Orange money through the Lightning Network.

Block also last year debuted a Bitcoin mining rig with swappable parts, with the idea that mining can reduce maintenance costs and replace equipment.
