143,480 Americans Warned After Cybercriminals Target Texas Software Firm, Putting Personal, Financial and Medical Records at Risk


Criminals have gained access to the personal information of thousands of people following a security breach involving a Texas immigration and immigration services provider.

Docketwise he says it immediately launched an investigation with the help of cyber security experts after it suspected in October 2025 that data from one of its third-party databases had been accessed.

The company said the compromised data belonged to people whose data the company received in its business and their immigration law firms.

Maine Attorney General’s Office he says the event occurred on September 1st, 2025 and was discovered on February 19th, 2026. The breach affects 143,480 people.

DocketWise reports that the attackers obtained names and other personal information.

“Following this review, DocketWise determined that some of your information may have been subject to unauthorized access. Please note that we have no evidence that this Incident involved companies importing, or resulting in the disclosure of, personally identifiable information (“PII”).”

The company’s investigation found that the intruders used valid credentials to access third-party databases, including those used in the DocketWise data migration pipeline that contained law firm records and information about their clients.
