Aave (AAVE) V4 has reached an important adoption milestone, highlighting the need to continue even in the challenging DeFi environment. The program now has more than $250 million in deposits, which shows the initial stability of its lending infrastructure.
This growth was driven by improved financial management, increased risk exposure, and enhanced lending strategies to attract additional investment. As well as increasing the number of deposits, it is also important that the quality of these deposits is high.

Part of the deposit to V4 was due to users transferring their old site from V3. However, not all of them represent a new capital to enter the Aave ecosystem.
Despite this, there have been positive signs that new deposits are continuing to flow onto the platform. This is in addition to moving goods. In order for Aave to continue to grow, it needs to continue to attract new investors to the platform.
If V4 continues to outperform V3 in terms of actual revenue additions, then Aave can solidify its position as a major provider within DeFi.
Fluid density tells another story
Although Spirit V4 continues to see record-breaking numbers, as the overall revenue trend is more challenging. TVL previously reached a peak of around 13.4 million ETH. However, it fell sharply due to the recent decline in the markets.
TVL returned to 7.4 million ETH. A far cry from previous highs, this shows that major funds have been slow to recover despite the change in business sentiment.

That said, the withdrawal continues to account for a portion of the new investment volume in V4, which is reducing the total investment volume.
Whereas V4 has seen continuous improvements to its protocols and has seen recovery in TVL. However, these indicators suggest that V4 will be strong in future growth but do not indicate that V4 is weak.
Additionally, cbETH deposits across Aave have increased recently. Deposits that stay around $ 18-$ 20 million until May before increasing until the beginning of July about $ 70 million.

This rapid increase reflects the increasing demand for liquid collateral; In addition, it strengthens Aave’s financial strength and liquidity.
Whether Aave can continue to grow as a larger ecosystem will be determined by the ability to continue to see all the benefits of the platform over time, excluding internal migration.
Brief Summary
- The growth of Aave V4 depends on new economic growth, not internal migration.
- Aave’s economy was strengthening as cbETH deposits continued to rise on the protocol.
