Artificial intelligence is driving the growth of American business, according to a new report.
Data from the US Census Bureau shows businesses in technology, science and technology services have increased nearly 45% since the launch of ChatGPT, reports Bloomberg.
Meanwhile, the construction business has increased by about 10% during the same period.
Georgia Tech student Alberto Flores, who is building an AI-powered law firm in Mexico, says he believes fear of job losses due to AI is driving the migration.
“AI is getting more and more advanced. I see a lot of people feeling like, ‘AI is going to come for my job, so I have to do something.’
The US Census Bureau now expects 29,700 new businesses to be created each month for a straight year, based on data submitted to the IRS.
That number is 17% higher than expected one year ago.
