BitGo Launches Lightning Access To Allow Organizations To Put Bitcoin To Work On The Lightning Network


BitGo, a digital asset management bank regulated by the OCC, has launched Lightning Earn, a new product that allows bitcoin asset companies and mutual funds to send their bitcoin as cash. Lightning Network and earn money to manage bitcoin.

The offer is built on integration with Amboss Technologies’ Rails product, a Lightning Infrastructure platform that enables participants to monetize infrastructure by retrieving and lending money across the network. (NYSE: BTGO), he said The integration gives enterprise customers access to the Lightning Network infrastructure without giving up reserved rights or administration.

Through the BitGo-Amboss integration, customers send bitcoins in the Lightning Network channels. The funds send payments across the network and provide funding for new facilities.

In return, the participants receive money that is allocated to bitcoin – not a token, a production tool, or a third-party product.

BitGo says its existing security controls, workflows, and operations extend into the Lightning Earn marketplace, giving organizations the compliance they need to participate.

BitGo creates its own wealth

The bank has sent part of its bitcoin holdings to Amboss Rails, a move the company described as a direct expression of confidence in the business.

The company’s investment strategy shows that the company sees Lightning Earn as a customer-focused product. It also positions the company and its customers to meet Lightning Network routing economics.

Amboss CEO Jesse Shrader said the agreement is changing the way organizations participate in the Lightning Network.

Amboss builds the data, software, and infrastructure for the Lightning Network, and Railway it serves as its basic foundation.
