Card advertising company Cardsmiths has revealed its latest acquisition and patriotic update: Money Series 6which was created in partnership with America250, the congressional organization that oversees the nation’s 250th anniversary celebrations.
The collection, designed to coincide with the semiquincentennial of the Declaration of Independence, contains 90 original cards and more than 120 unique designs.
These cards explore the history, money, markets, and culture that shaped the American and global economy, created by artists including street artist Mr. Brainwash and artists Jon McTavish and Thomas Zahler.
In commemoration of the most important year, each unique package is numbered to 1,776 – the year the founders put leather in Philadelphia.
Although the American theme is new, Currency Series 6 continues the Cardsmiths collection of the past by randomly placing crypto redemption cards, which can be redeemed. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoinor Dogecoin. The top prize includes a full Bitcoin and Ethereum token, which are available at around $66,600 and $1,900 respectively.
Decrypt has previously reported on collectors pulling the entire Bitcoin redemption card from value packs and $13 purchased from retailers like GameStop. With the latest drop, Cardsmiths is offering two-pack collectible boxes starting at $37.
“With this major release, we’re making history,” said Cardsmiths co-founder and CEO Steve Loney, in a statement.
