CertiK has joined the XDC Network as an Institutional Masternode Validator, marking a new step in the network’s push to create a trusted blockchain foundation for business finance, trade finance, and real-world asset exposure.
The New York-headquartered security provider has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the XDC Network under which it will deploy and operate certified nodes on the blockchain.
The partnership will use CertiK’s enterprise node solution, CertiK SkyNode, to strengthen the XDC Network’s security, resilience, and decentralization.
The move comes as the digital economy and traditional economy continue to evolve, with organizations focusing on blockchain networks that can support secure transactions, asset visibility, and operational resilience at scale.
CertiK to use the authentication nodes on the XDC Network
Under the agreement, CertiK will participate as an Institutional Masternode Validator on the XDC Network, an open source, EVM-compatible Layer-1 blockchain designed for payments, trade funds, and virtual assets.
The XDC Network’s hybrid architecture combines public transparency and subnetting capabilities.
The network is designed to facilitate institutional stability and RWA tokenization, while offering high liquidity, low fees, and business security.
Upon joining as a certifier, CertiK will install security controls on the network segment.
The companies said this is aimed at reducing operational and network-related risks as the adoption of blockchain businesses expands.
“CertiK is one of the most recognized names in blockchain security, and having them certify our network is a clear signal for organizations,” said Atul Khekade, Co-founder, XDC Network.
This is not just a technical agreement. It’s a statement about the level of infrastructure we’re building for business finance. Organizations moving into business finance and investment management are making long-term decisions, and we want XDC Network to be the solution they come back to.
Security focuses on institutionalization
CertiK will use its SkyNode platform to provide 24/7 continuous security on the XDC Network.
This includes continuous threat analysis, automated threat mitigation, and node-level penetration testing.
This architecture also uses a multi-layered architecture with redundant security.
According to the company, this setup is designed to maintain continuity and support high availability during network problems.
For organizations exploring blockchain’s implications for business finance and resource sustainability, operational reliability remains a key concern.
This partnership is in line with this need, with CertiK bringing its security and infrastructure expertise to the XDC Network’s validator ecosystem.
“CertiK is honored to join the XDC Network as an Institutional Masternode Validator,” said Ronghui Gu, Co-Founder and CEO of CertiK.
Traditional trading funds and RWA tokens require risk management, a strong security foundation, and operational resilience. Through this partnership, we are bringing our security and infrastructure expertise to help strengthen the network and support the reliable infrastructure required for organizations to operate.
XDC expands the legal ecosystem of venture capital
This agreement adds CertiK to the large group of certifiers already supporting the XDC Network.
These include regulated financial institutions, global telecom companies, and digital Web3 companies.
Current XDC Network sponsors include Animoca Brands, BCW Group, Blueprint, Clearpool, Credora, Deutsche Telekom, HashKeyCloud, Hivemind Digital Group, InvestaX, IXS, RedStone, Republic Crypto, SBI Holdings, StakeFi, and UOB Venture Management.
The partnership will focus on supporting a trusted foundation for trade finance, asset management, and digital asset management.
Both organizations said they want to support the secure implementation of blockchain technology across these communities.
