Today could be a bad week, because it came with one of the biggest decisions to end the year. The price of Bitcoin also tested lower levels overnight, Ethereum touched the $1,500 low, and MSTR faced serious problems. Today’s trends are focused on standing ahead of the mainstream.

So why did Bitcoin go down? Last night’s trading pressure coincided with the approach of one of the biggest time-lapse events. It was expected, and it happened, that major players were changing positions or selling rumors, which caused the move to drop before it happened. It is only getting worse as current conditions show a water shortage, which increases price volatility.

What’s next? Will July be okay?

Bitcoin Price Eyes Post-Expiry Clarity, Ethereum Shows Buy Option

Interestingly, Bitcoin has posted almost zero returns in June over the past twelve years. July, in contrast, has brought strong gains of around 7.5% across multiple lines. The chart shows July as one of the best performing months for Bitcoin compared to June.

Bitcoin price recovered $58K, Ethereum made a double bottom, while MSTR fell 10% as $3B in crypto markets.

The price of Bitcoin actions it has remained steady as it dipped into the $58K region before recovering above $60K in recent hours as new territory emerged. The options expire today, with $10.6 billion in contracts set, mostly on Deribit and CME futures plus options.

But, surprisingly, 80% of these contracts are already out of the money after the June drop. A negative business gamma means that the price movement may be larger until the market clears the $68K–$70K zone, at which point the position may change.

Ethereum’s price is still a bit lower, but it looks like a double bottom if formed after the early AM dip. Although weak, there are signs of accumulating choice. Sharplink reportedly bought Ethereum for the first time in eight months. But this does not help the problem of altcoins. This cycle, the altcoin market has closely followed Bitcoin’s direction with BTC Dominance dominating and refusing to drop below 50%.

MSTR Faces Heavy Trading Pressure

Strategy is also facing business inquiries over its Bitcoin plans and recent disclosures. Law firms have launched an investigation into the potential impact on shareholders in the event of a major bankruptcy that did not occur. Its decline in value has been happening because the market is concerned about this. As of today, MSTR is down 10%.

Although the Strategy is shaken by the billions of unrealized losses, June’s Bitcoin ETF outflows exceeded $3 billion, which is contributing to the pain. Bitcoin price is holding close to long-term keys, and Ethereum remains under pressure but has found short-term support.

Expiration itself is a major event today, although many contracts are already out of the money, and termination can remove the layering of sales. The exits have been big and bad, but OGs and big holders are taking advantage of the weakness to increase visibility.

Should we be conservative or conservative? Stablecoin launch and phase-2 progress is in progress. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the market may still experience trouble, but what goes down usually goes up.
