Today, Story is announcing a smart switch to being DATA Foundation (“DATA”) is the launch of Trace, an onchain AI registry for training data knowledge and consent. The installation includes integration with the flagship and Kledthe world’s largest opt-in marketplace, registering 1.5 billion users on the Network. Andrea Muttoni becomes CEO of The DATA Foundation, and Kled founder, Avi Patel, joins the consultancy as Chief Data Officer.
Most AI Training Has Hit a Bottleneck
The DATA shift shows where the market is trending. AI training data has emerged as a valuable and largely unsolved area of IP. Frontier AI labs have reached a multi-billion dollar milestone, while the Internet has been successfully eliminated from the fray. For each profile that users have placed worldwide, a DATA receipt will be generated, which will enable the compensation of the data and intellectual property of the contributors.
