July 27, 2026 – Panama City, Panama
EMCDThe global crypto-fintech platform and one of the largest Bitcoin mining centers in the world, has announced the launch of the Miner Support Program, giving qualified miners the opportunity to earn up to $30 million* in cash, fees and peer benefits.
The program starts against background problems. Bitcoin’s hashprice – the most important measure of mining costs per unit of compute – has fallen to about $28/PH/day, a 50% drop from the peak of October 2025 and a drop of more than half, according to CoinShares Q1 2026 data. About 252 EH/s have been removed from the Internet (According to Hashrate Index data, cited in CoinCentral, April 2026) as users of old hardware found that the limits no longer hold work. Three consecutive negative reversals, the first of which since July 2022, indicate a strong sensitivity across the sector. EMCD, which has been operating its mining pool since 2017 and plans on 4,550 BTC mined by users in 2025, sees this period as a stress test and a design opportunity for workers who remain active.
Program Structure
As margins are squeezed across the industry, EMCD has also implemented a concrete solution: revised fees, negotiation tools and infrastructure, and open access to its liquid and productive products – a tool built around the way mining businesses work, available to workers in any region.
Miners facing cash flow problems can get an EMCD secured facility at 3.9% APR – to pay for operating costs without selling assets in a down market. In contrast to generic crypto-backed credit lines, EMCDs are built around mining-specific investment funds and are integrated into the entire program, so that the cost of capital decreases significantly when combined with fees and hardware savings rather than being judged on the scale alone.
Those looking to secure a limit on each block can sign up for a zero pool commission for 60 days, reducing further while the hashprice remains depressed. Miners with older or less expensive hardware can unlock higher prices on Vnish firmware – the market-leading third-party ASIC firmware. Those looking to upgrade or relocate get access to special offers on equipment and data services through the EMCD network.
Involvement of Partners
EMCD invites hardware manufacturers, data centers, and hosting providers to join the program by offering special offers to qualified miners. Partner applications can be submitted on this website: https://support-miners.emcd.io/.
“We’ve been through every market in the industry since 2017 – meetings, winter, semis. What we’ve learned is that the miners who survive aren’t the ones who wait for losses. They’re the ones who use them. This program is our commitment to ensure that miners are equipped to do the same.” – Michael Jerlis, Founder & CEO, EMCD.
*Amounts quoted reflect the total amount of funding (including grants, fee reductions and peer contributions) available under the program and do not constitute a reserve fund.
