A new crypto controversy has erupted in Poland, with Prime Minister Donald Tusk accusing a crypto company allegedly created with “Russian money” of supporting political actors and irregular activities.
Tusk made the comments on Friday in Poland’s parliament, where lawmakers were set to vote on whether to overturn the approval of Karol Nawrocki, the presidential candidate whose leadership has been at the center of controversy over new crypto laws.
The story began when Nawrocki rejected two separate attempts by the liberal government to regulate the Polish crypto market in the past six months.
