Ripple Launches Ripple Mint for Institutional RLUSD Stablecoin Management

Ripple has launched Ripple Mint, an educational platform that integrates the management of stablecoin companies, Ripple USD (RLUSD).

Previously, corporate entities had to perform their RLUSD-related tasks manually on distributed platforms. This increased the difficulty in organizing and coordinating their crypto operations. Ripple Mint solves all of this by presenting itself as a centralized exchange where users can earn, mint, and redeem RLUSD into fiat currency.

Ripple Mint integrates RLUSD’s corporate activity

The app enables users to exchange stablecoins on multiple blockchains, including XRP Ledger (XRPL), Ethereum, and popular Layer-2 networks such as Base and Optimism. It contains webhook system information and associated IDs to track activity in its various fields: fiat receipt, token minting, credit settlement, and payment completion.

Organizations can connect to Ripple Mint through its official dashboard or connect it to their applications using APIs. The contractor will work in a variety of organizations, including crypto exchanges, market makers, payment providers, and fintech companies.

As Ripple saysRLUSD transactions on Ripple Mint are supported by regular tracking. Stablecoin is issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company, a company that is mainly controlled by financial institutions. In addition, RLUSD is administered by the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS).

Additional information

Launched almost two years ago, the RLUSD stablecoin has grown to become one of the top 10 in the market ($1.59 billion). It recorded a trading volume of $123.38 million in the past 24 hours and is listed on several top exchanges, including Kraken, Bitstamp and Bullish.

The establishment of Ripple Mint will now improve the business opportunities and management of the stablecoin, possibly expanding its global circulation and use in the most important corridors.
