Potion Alpha, one of the largest crypto trading groups with more than 110,000 members, has announced a complete relaunch under new leadership with funding led by Stratosphere, with additional funding from Mac (@MacnBTC) and other stakeholders.
At its peak, Potion Alpha operated one of the most successful businesses in the industry, led by some of the most active and engaged members. Under the new arrangement, a partnership led by Stratosphere, together with MacnBTC and other smart investors, will acquire a 70% controlling stake in Potion Alpha, creating a majority shareholder group as the company enters its next phase. Gabriele Leyva is still the founder of Potion Alpha and will continue to lead the community.
Potion Alpha, recognized as the leader in memecoin trading, is growing beyond its roots to become a multi-currency platform, including futures, currencies, prediction markets, stocks and advanced analytics.

Community and Events
Potion Alpha operates a Discord group with regular AMAs and market discussions where members can interact directly with experts and supporters.

Potion Alpha will also be present at Consensus Miami 2026 on May 4 and 5, where the team will meet their peers and network with the larger crypto community.
