In short
- The VIPs for the latest TRUMP meme coin event at Mar-a-Lago were less crowded than the original event alone.
- While VIPs earned nearly $4.7 million in TRUMP tokens last event, some VIPs earned nearly $300,000 worth of TRUMP tokens this year.
- TRUMP is down about 96% from its all-time high, recently changing hands at $2.79.
President Donald Trump is expected to host a private event the same corner hosts later this month at Mar-a-Lago, but perhaps as a sign of the times, the price to attend is significantly lower than it was last year.
The group behind President Trump Solana-the established token, which is marketed as TRUMP, completed the list of attendees on Tuesday, with a list of visitors from the board attached to the tokens and other items.
Last time, a group of attendees got “VIP” access after each of them won millions of dollars worth of tokens. But getting a VIP pass at President Trump’s latest event, a luncheon and meeting for the elite, costs about 90% this time – down from about $3 million to $300,000.
VIP status, the highest level of access to the event, gives attendees the opportunity to privately “meet and learn” with “well-known” attendees like Tether’s Paolo Ardoino, retired boxer Mike Tyson, and Ark Invest’s Cathie Wood. The bonus award, over a lunch with President Trump, was awarded to the top 29 TRUMP owners who earned points based on the brand’s score from March 12 to April 14.
Based on available on-chain holder data compared to the Trump meme the team’s final scoreboardat least one account that achieved VIP status and ranked number 12—Solana’s address starting with “Ciz7y”—never held more than 114,212 TRUMP tokens in more than a month.
The amount, which is now around $318,000, increased to about $473,000 when the token traded at $4.14 on March 15.
Some VIPs, like Solana’s address “2ciorM,” transferred around 102,000 TRUMP tokens on March 12th and never moved again. Those marks, now valued at $283,000, were enough to put the address at 17, above the VIP cutoff.
The amount is much smaller than what was seen at last year’s inaugural event for Trump meme holders, where the finalists grabbed millions of dollars’ worth of tokens for VIP access, which resulted in a special bonus. The final VIP holder at last May’s event, at number 25had TRUMP signs of about $3 million at the time of the photo shoot.
At that time, get VIP access to the first TRUMP meme gala they want $4.78 million for the meme president, approx. The top handle – and an account named “Sun” that Tron founder Justin Sun confirmed as his– boosted the group by having $19 million in TRUMP at the time this photo was taken last year.

The founder of Tron, which earlier this week publicly disparaged the Trump family’s World Liberty Financial business-another crypto company, also became the main leader on the meme coin board this year.
However, this time, the value of his account is about $ 9.3 million, as the value of the TRUMP symbol has fallen significantly from its peak. They have a total of 3.3 million TRUMP tokens, or 1.4 million more tokens than the first time.
As it stands, TRUMP’s official token was recently trading at around $2.80, down 29% over the past month and. now 96% off for its entire duration of $73.43 which was recently established. A brief overview it jumped nearly 40% after the announcement of the most recent events, but has removed the gains.
In comparison, during last year’s special event, the token closed the day’s trading at about $13.08-about 370% more than its trading price.
Meanwhile, token holders were also awarded 10 points for every $1 spent on Trump-branded items—such as hats and watches—during the token holding period, which cannot be accounted for by on-chain data.
That bonus would have moved the needle for some potential VIPs, but otherwise, it looks like owners will have to spend a lot less on TRUMP tokens this year to get the special offer.
Last year’s TRUMP meme coin dinner was targeted by Democratic lawmakers, who he asked to investigate the morals of the invitation. Well known, Senator Elizabeth Warren called it incidents of “fraudulent fraud,” saying that people can use it to buy access to the presidency.
This year’s Mar-a-Lago event will require attendees to do a background check, and make sure they are not residents of a KYC-watchlist country. According to the regulations, the event, which is scheduled for April 25, can be canceled for any reason, and does not guarantee the presence of President Trump.
If Trump cannot attend, or the event does not take place, then attendees will receive a Trump-themed NFT.
