XRP price is trading above $1.40, squeezed in $1.30–$1.45 and nothing is happening – and that’s what makes this setup worth watching.
The economy’s 30-day Realized Volatility Index has dropped to about 0.42, its lowest reading since 2024, a pressure that is leading to sharp movements rather than continued silence.

The price feels stable until you plot it against where XRP came from. After rising above $ 3.00 in the middle of 2025, a series of lows and lows defined the following months, which reached a peak in early February 2026, a large increase that lowered the weak hands and reestablished the position.
Since then, the tree has not done anything.

Will XRP Price Clear $1.50 or Is $1.30 the Next Stop?
The price of XRP is currently not neutral, it is moving downwards, and the chart makes sense, because the price is below the 50 days, 100 days, and 200 days, all pointing to the bottom, which is basically the meaning of the market that has not gone down yet.
Volume also supports this. You had a spike during the selloff, then the participation disappeared, which means that this is not accumulation, it is just silence. The fact that $1.30 is still active tells you that buyers are protecting, not that they have enough power to drive up the price.

So the setup is simple.
If XRP can regain $1.50 and hold it, that is the first sign of strength and potential change. Until then, any breakout is just a bump in the downtrend.
If $1.30 is broken, the bottom disappears, and there is not much support on the bottom, which is when things can accelerate downward.
What determines the weight is the part of the chain. Most of the water bodies, MVRV is staying at the last levels seen during the big market crisis, and the profits are low, which usually means that the trend is still there, not about to turn around.

Add to that the fact that XRP has already dropped close to 30% in the last year, and this is not a repeat, it is a permanent decline that has not shown any real sign.
So the real takeaway is this, the market is depressed, but in a low position, and unless something changes the pattern, the pressure is still leaning towards continuation, not a sudden recovery.
